Cannot sync. Where is "Scan Sync Code"?

I’m trying to sync my iPad with my desktop Mac so all my bookmarks will coincide. I can’t find either a button to “Scan Sync Code” nor the button “I Have a Sync Code” and when I try and use the written password I can’t get a field to activate so I can enter it.

Maybe I’m an 80 year old dummy, but it gets extremely frustrating! I love Brave, but would like to have all my bookmarks on both devices.
