Cannot reverify wallet on windows or android. Rewards still being paid but balance not showing

Briefly describe your issue:

My previously verified wallet has been ‘dropped’ from both my windows laptop and android phone. I still accrue brave rewards, and somewhere behind the scenes the link to the wallet is still there, as I receive them (!).

I did comment on this thread, but I cannot follow the instructions there as I do not have any external wallet showing in brave-internals

This all started around the end of September - some log snippets:

When I do try to reconnect my wallet I see errors in the logs (and I have just disabled my antivirus in case that was interfering - no change)

Mostly it’s the ‘forbidden’ error. Problem seems to have started on 28th

^^ For this I did have to re-authorise brave with uphold - and that seemed to work OK. I can now log into uphold and see that Brave is connected.

Here are the details of the October rewards / November payout (See screenshots below)

Laptop 2.9 BAT due to hit
Android: 3.836 BAT due to hit

Which should have meant I received 6.736 BAT
In fact I only received 5.37126 BAT (approx 1.36 BAT missing. this also happened last month)

So in summary - wallet is receiving some rewards (but not what you say I should receive) and neither of the devices that I use are able to connect properly to Uphold from Brave - but Uphold shows Brave as being connected. I can provide more logs and IDs etc upon request.

Ideal outcome: wallet is shown to connect successfully to Uphold from Windows and Android, and BAT received is as promised.

Hi @steeven yes still an issue. I don’t get any ‘device limit reached’ errors. I go through to uphold, click “authorise application” then a ‘your request is still being processed, please wait’ message flashes up, and I get returned to the rewards screen with an unverified wallet.

Hi @steeven I’ve only ever had 2 devices linked. Will DM you my email (we’ve talked before … could be a hangover from my historical issues …)

@steeven I’m having the exact same issue except for my desktop browser only. My Uphold wallet is verified but I am also stuck in the brave wallet verification loop like CGreen.

So I got rewards again this month (5.4 BAT versus the c7 BAT I was expecting). Wallet status remains the same

I tried again to verify today (and I guess you’ve made some improvements in error logging). This is what I got @steeven - so I think it’s definitely something to do with my original uphold wallet that got transferred by them in Jan 2021. The a/c I am trying now was the one working since February ish …

Edit: for the avoidance of doubt, I have not had access to the original uphold account since January …

Commenting to keep this open in the hope I get a fix @steeven - last month (Jan '22) I was due around 6 BAT and received 5.33. The error still remains as reported above. And of course, as my mobile wallet is always showing a zero balance I can’t even attempt to reverify it there

Once again some Brave received (but not the stated amount)

1.57 BAT from phone
2.4475 BAT from laptop

Total Expected: 4.0175 BAT

Received: 3.42904 BAT

Discrepancy: 0.58846 BAT missing (or to put it another way a whopping c12.5% of expected stated reward)

What’s the email linked to your Uphold?

Still getting this error when I try to connect

I believe I am having this issue as well. The Uphold box always goes back to ‘ID verification pending’, and the Rewards window keeps claiming that I am supposed to get payouts for ads, but they are never added to my total.
