Cannot download any type of file on Arch Linux

Description of the issue:
I cannot download any type of file on AUR brave, I have no idea why, it only started about a week ago.
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Fresh install of Arch Linux with Gnome
  2. Install brave from the AUR
  3. Attempt to download any file using the browser.

Expected result:
The issue might have something to do with the user being in the wheels group but I have no clue.

1.37.109
