Can we please have tab to "skip to main content"?

I’m requesting for a feature where after you Brave search a query, you can press the tab key to move the cursor to the search results. This is known in Google Search for example as “skip to main content”.

This is a small improvement but impactful since I, along with many other developers, mainly only use the keyboard meaning moving to the search results body requires using the mouse.

Like most users, this is also a habit picked up from using Google Search so I instinctively hit tab to skip to the search results but only get the Brave logo.

Reproduce on Brave browser with Brave search:

  1. Type a search into the omnibar.
  2. Hit tab.
  3. Hit enter.
    Result: brings to Brave homepage.

Reproduce on Brave browser with Google Search:

  1. Type a search into the omnibar.
  2. Hit tab.
  3. Hit enter.
    Result: “Skip to main content” is highlighted then pressing enter key moves cursor to the main search results.
