Bug: Alt+Tab Requires Multiple Presses & Duplicate Tabs Issue After Update

Hi Brave Team,

After the recent update, I’ve noticed some weird behavior with the browser. When I’m watching a video (like on YouTube or Netflix) and I press Alt+Tab to switch to another app, I have to press it three times to actually switch.

On top of that, sometimes the current tab duplicates itself, and I end up with multiple copies of the same tab open. This gets pretty annoying and messes with my workflow.

Here’s some info that might help:

  • Brave Version: 132.0.6834.111
  • Operating System: Windows 11
  • Extensions: Picture-in-Picture Extension (by Google), Dark Reader, Definer - Popup Dictionary & Translator, Temp Mail - Disposable Temporary Email

I’ve already tried disabling extensions, clearing cache, resetting settings, and toggling hardware acceleration, but the issue is still happening.
