Browser works very slow after Windows 10 feature update version 2004

Description of the issue: After the recent Windows update (Feature update version 2004, Windows 10 Home), launching of the brave browser has become slower (more than 5 seconds) than usual (within a second). All options and features respond very slowly on mouse clicks. Typing in the search bar is either very slow or non-responsive. Sometimes, the display appears either black or white completely. Once, the browser is launched, my laptop fan noise starts to rise. Closing the browser shows ‘not responding’ message for few seconds and then the browser closes.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Update the Windows OS to recent Feature update 2004.
  2. Launch the Brave browser.
  3. Observe the issue.

Expected result:
The Brave browser works fine as usual without any problems. It was working fine before this feature update. Other browsers such as Chrome, Firefox or Edge works smoothly even after this latest feature update. I am currently using Firefox as default browser as Brave is not stable in the recent Windows update.
