Browser painting horizontal lines on websites

Description of the issue:

On my 2019 MBP using macOS 10.15.6, after sleeping my brave browser occasionally starts rendering websites with horizontal blue lines.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Have websites open
  2. Move to sleep
  3. Come back from sleep
  4. See image above.

Even when I close brave, then re-open, the websites exhibiting the issues are still doing so. Note, it does not happen to every website I visit (I haven’t figured out a pattern yet).

I’ve tried alternative browsers and can’t seem to reproduce it, making me believe it’s happening somewhere in the brave settings.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.13.82 Chromium: 85.0.4183.83 (Official Build) (64-bit)

could you try to disable hardware acceleration
