ChromeOS is one of the most security focused OS-es nowadays, and it’s easy to use and lightweight.
You now have the option, to install it on PC, at least the dumbed down ChromeOS Flex version.
Sadly it has some flaws though:
You can’t change the default browser to Brave (you can install the Linux version with Crostini VM, but it’s not the same)
You have to register a google account for fully using the system, but sometimes you would want a de-googled OS
Chrome browser lags behind a couple of versions (currently 130.0… on PC and 129.0… on ChromeOS Flex)
So it would be great to have a secure and private OS based on ChromiumOS (and/or hardware) from You!
I know it’s not realistic now, just saying…
