Brave won't open external bitorrent client

What happened when you click the torrent file? Did you already disable the built-in torrent viewer?

I didn’t read the error message that popped, my eyes glazed over it like was a 404 screen, and I was in private mode which breaks the extension while it’s apparently enabled

To confirm, did toggling the WebTorrent setting “off” resolve this?

Not in private mode. It asks me to save the torrent file.
