Brave web-site and built-in browser online feature are doesn't work in Russia

The Brave website and the web services built into browsers (updates, downloading ad blocker lists) have stopped working in the Russian Federation. I can see this in both Windows and Android versions. It seems to me that this has not happened recently, what happened? :cry:

UPD. OS: Windows - 11, Android - 14
Brave version - 1.76.82

I decide to check the Brave site recently, it’s not work (last week). In other previous time it mays work, but idk. Last stable checking - January, all works.

Extensions not installing (IDK WHY, but downloading in Chrome Store shows infinity loading of addon :laughing:)
Windows Defender is not blocking any processes.

New profile can’t help, because it’s WEB problem, not local for browser

Please edit your Original Post (“OP”) above, to include:

  • Brave Browser version numbers
  • Operating System numbers

. . . for each of your computing devices.

Please give a rough estimate back in time (months, weeks), when you figure that the issue began.

Have you tested the issue, by:

  • Disabling (and Removing?) extensions that you have installed?
  • Disabling any anti-virus?

You might test, by creating a new Brave Browser Profile:

  1. Create a fresh browser profile (Menu --> More tools --> Add profile)
  2. Close your original profile windows (so you only have the new profile window open)

Exit / Quit Brave Browser. Restart computer. Launch Brave Browser - use the new Profile. Test.

From your description(s), I am not yet able to determine, where your Windows OS 11 installation exists:

  • a PC in your possession
  • a PC in some remote location relative to your location
  • a Virtual Platform Windows OS 11 installation somewhere in the cosmos of the Internet

I am also reluctant to ask you, how you are connected to the Internet, because revelation of that information might be a problem for you . . .
