Description of the issue: The site https://letterboxd.com/ appears incorrectly. It’s some weird version of the mobile app. This started happening yesterday, AFAIK. It’s unreasonably difficult to use the site like this. It appears fine on Firefox, and it appears fine on Brave in a VM (latest version). Does not change if I disable extensions, or by signing in or out.
Steps to Reproduce : I have not managed to reproduce it.
Operating System and Brave Version : Win10 22H2 / V1.64.116
Additional Information: I found another post of a Brave user on macOS saying the same thing 7 months ago : https://imgur.com/a/5ly8iJ1 . No other reports of the same thing happening on a different browser. Also, Is this how the topic creation is genuinely supposed to look, taking up 20% of the bottom of my screen? It’s absolutely diabolical. If it is, please change it, it’s awful.
I don’t know what caused it exactly. I’ve used the site for over a year without problems, where I typically would have Brave snapped to half the monitor (little less than 1720x1440, and how it is in the photo) and never had this before. Loading it in a ‘desktop’ resolution looked like this : https://prnt.sc/_6XveuwWE4lz
Manually changing the useMobileSite cookie to ‘No’ has fixed it for now, and is running in ‘desktop’ mode in that same res. Also, using an embedded version of the site worked normally (presumably because they have different cookies, I’m not sure), but had a different font. https://embed.letterboxd.com/
Not sure what would’ve caused it, other than the window being resized. The specific site is designed this way, not a common way. I could only trigger this issue if I resized the letterboxd website.
RIght-click and removing the specific useMobileSite cookie is safe to do also.
