Brave search engine is not working and it is showing no search suggestions for news questions accept for leo, how do i fix this? Im on windows

So when I search things on my brave browser, it shows the previous search suggestion but nothing new, if i type out the whole question in the search bar, and press enter or search, its just stuck there and doesnt do anything, the only suggestions it shows is Leo Ai

Id like to search easily again.

Addressing the “Brave search engine is not working” part . . . for test purposes:

DISABLE Leo AI settings brave://settings/leo-assistant

In Brave Search settings https://search.brave.com/settings DISABLE:

  • Answer with AI
  • Discussions

Go to brave://settings/clearBrowserData Advanced tab

Time range: All time

ENABLE:

  • Browsing history
  • Download hsitory
  • Cookies and other site data
  • Cached images and files

And Clear data

Exit / Quit BB. Start BB. Test the “Brave search engine is not working” issue, see if you get a typical search engine’s list of results:

Use the Brave Search field (“Search the web privately”):

Hey thanks for the feedback, I did all this but the address bar still isnt working, the search privately one always worked so it doesnt make a difference.
