Whenever I open a webpage, there is this extra page that repeatedly opens. It happens all the time on brave now. What to do?

Looks to me like a malicious extension is installed, or there’s some other malware on your computer.
What extensions are installed, and can you disable them and see if the issue goes away?
Does the issue occur in a Private window?
Does the issue occur if you create a new profile and try it in that profile?
What version of macOS are you on?
Yup. It happens in a private window as well.
My Extensions are: Honey, Evernote, WhatFont, and Grammarly
I am on Monterey 12.0.1.
Creating a new profile doesn’t help.
Also, I don’t know if this is helpful but in my Chrome, Google isn’t showing up as a search engine. I don’t know if they are related.
Also, I clean installed Brave 4 times. The issue wasn’t resolved.
OK. Do you have any security/antimalware software for your computer? I feel like something on the computer is launching those URLs. Currently they don’t seem to be valid but at one time, they may have been.

I installed CleanMyMac X and it showed me some malware. The issue is now gone. Thanks for your time.
