Brave Open File instead of saving it

Description of the issue:
When clicking on a link brave ask me to save the file (PDF, ppt, doc, etc). How can i get brave to open the file instead of saving it?
How can this issue be reproduced?
click on a pdf link, ppt, doc, etc.

Expected result:
open the pdf in a new tab, or open ppt with default program, etc.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.25.70

Additional Information:
I tried the same on internet explorer (Not Edge), and he ask me to

  1. Open
  2. Save
  3. Cancel

i would like to know if i can to set the same in brave, because my download folder is filling up with the same file every time I click the link of the file i want to see, over and over again

Hey ftcister,

You can toggle opening PDFs in Brave by going to brave://settings/privacy > Site and shield settings > PDF documents. As for your main issue, if I’m correct, you want to open files without saving them to your PC, akin to how Microsoft Edge works?
