Brave is adding a black border

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Opened any YouTube video.
  2. Focused channel’s profile picture.
  3. Brave added a black border.

Expected result:
I didn’t understand what said with expected result.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.10.90 Chromium: 83.0.4103.97 (Official Build) (64-bit) Version

Well that makes me feel better as I noticed this today on a banking site and was a bit worried I had picked up something I didn’t want…

Unless you picked it up as well…hmmmm

Would be nice if Brave had some way of telling us when they do stuff like this - and perhaps they already do but I don’t know where to look?

I experienced this as well, after upgrading to the latest version (Version 1.10.93 Chromium: 83.0.4103.106 (Official Build) (64-bit)).
Please fix it ASAP, as I work all day with an affected site and I cannot stand it anymore. If there is a temporary fix or a workaround, please let us know.

I downloaded an updated version via brew and it shows the same version number (1.10.93 Chromium: 83.0.4103.106) and it shows the same behaviour. Maybe it’s only an issue with brew.

I’m having the same issue after updating to 1.10.97.
A lot of selectable things get a thick, black border when I hover over them.

I’m not a fan, is there a way I can change this?
