When I run Brave for Mac Version 1.15.72 Chromium: 86.0.4240.75 (Official Build) (x86_64) on an iMac Pro running macOS Catalina 10.15.7 (19H2), if I open a new Private Window and type a search in the address bar (which should run the search over DuckDuckGo), Brave crashes completely. It doesn’t generate a crash report to send to Apple.
Is anyone else having this issue?

does that only happen in private mode and it work fine in normal mode right?
Yep. That is what’s happening.
that mean the issue are in one of your extension or you cache
so try to disable all extension and try again in normal mode if it work then enable them one by one till you get the one that cause the issue
if that did not work then try to clear your cache
