On several laptops, the display and control of individual JavaScript elements stopped working. When clicking the Brave shield (lion icon), a black dot appears instead. Only the basic setting in the Brave preferences works – turning all JavaScript elements on or off – but I don’t want that. This issue always occurs after installing the latest Ubuntu update. If one laptop was updated, Brave stopped working properly, but if another laptop next to it hadn’t been updated yet, Brave worked without any issues. The latest Brave update didn’t change anything.
