The last 2 Brave Browser updates have been fubar in Linux Mint/Ubuntu
Let me preface this by stating that I love the browser, I donate to the cause and I am not PO’d at anyone. Chit happens…
I have verified it is both of the latest browser updates and not Linux related update code. I can used Time Shift to go back and exclude the Brave update both times
Brave 1.74.148:
The mouse was fubar’d using the R Click-Copy Paste function. You had to hold down the R button and highlight Copy or Paste for it to work. This in internet pages only like comments boards
Brave 1.75.175:
Dark Mode is fubar. The Dark Mode in the browser itself can be fixed by toggling between Classic and GTK but… It is still in Light Mode on internet searches/ YouTube etc. No matter what settings I tried in the actual search page or main page (DDG)
I suggest you guys go back to Brave 1.73.105 - Chromium 131.0.6778.265 and start again from there. I am using it now, no mouse or dark mode issues at all.
It would also be nice if the R Click->Open in new tab pop-up didn’t move around like it was last year
