Brave Beta logging me out everytime I close the window

The browser keeps logging me out everytime I close the window. This issue doesn’t affect my whatsapp web login or my bitwarden password manager, but all the other websites are logged out such as google, proton, daily.dev extension, etc. The history is not cleared, nor do any of the settings change.

Clear data on exit is turned off. I block trackers & ads aggressively, & block all third part cookies through brave shields. Forget me when I exit is also turned off.

I downloaded brave beta through the yay package manager in arch linux.

Version 1.78.69 Chromium: 135.0.7049.28 (Official Build) beta (64-bit)

I see the same, Brave is basically unusable in this state , if it is not fixed soon I will need to revert to Chromium until it is

A fatal bug that is affecting me too. This needs to be fixed asap please.
