Brave as a privacy browser

Description of the issue:

If Brave is such a reliable and effective privacy browser, why is it never suggested by experts for people wanting to increase their digital privacy? Over and over again, I read suggestions for browsers like Firefox and DuckDuckGo; but, somehow, tech experts never seem to suggest Brave. This is disconcerting, and I would like to know if anyone can offer an explanation for it.

Thank you.

Why do you say it isn’t?

Paid promotions. When you pay people to say good things about your company or product, they do.

What are your qualifications for “tech experts?” Should also ask what you would think or say about things like below?

To add onto what @Saoiray is stating, Firefox and Duckduckgo have both been around for quite a lot longer than we have, so they will naturally show up more frequently than Brave does, as brand recognition is a powerful force (we at Brave are working on this).

That said, it does not mean that these instances don’t exist — @Saoiray has added some examples above. We also have a page on Brave.com with some additional praise from creators, Brave being mentioned in the news, as well as user reviews that you can see here:

Lastly, regardless of how many times are browser is mentioned/suggested, I think the facts speak for themselves. You can view our comparison page here for direct comparisons to Firefox, Duckduckgo and other browsers on Privacy, features and performance:
