Bookmark Import from Chrome HTML not working

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Export bookmarks using Chrome and save HTML file
  2. Click “Import Bookmarks Now” in Brave
  3. Click ‘Choose File’ and Open HTML file saved from above
  4. Brave returns a dialog saying the file was imported, click on Done.
  5. Bookmarks are not available

Expected result:

  1. Bookmark Bar is displayed with bookmarks

@PatVR Where are you looking for your Bookmarks? If you’re expecting them to be in your Bookmarks bar, you’re looking in the wrong place.

Go to your Bookmarks Manager at brave://bookmarks/

You should see a spot that says Others. This is where all the bookmarks should be. You can click and drag them over to Bookmarks or whichever other folders you want.

Perhaps you checked that already, but am mentioning as this has been something overlooked by others in the past. Hoping this is a simple problem and is all that’s happening with you as well.

I did that and there was nothing in either. I am going to try exporting again and re-importing. Just to be sure.
