**Description of the issue: I cleared download page of downloads, but now when i downloading something it does not display current download progress in downloads page

**Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3. Cleared downloads history page, started new download, there is no progress.

**Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!): https://imgur.com/dd18XCs

Expected result:

**Reproduces how often: first time i encountered this

**Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu): Windows 10, 180914; Brave Version 0.67.123

**Additional Information: When download is finished there is also no download history in download page.

I’ve had the same thing since the latest update.
I have tried to empty my cache and disable my plug-ins, to no avail.

I don’t know if that could be related, but since that update, I also get a lot of pages crashing, usually pages with a cript running in the background, such as Youtube, Tweetdeck, Facebook.

I’m wondering if this could be related to hardware acceleration too, since the same day I updated my Nvidia studio drivers.

Gonna make a few tests.

so, turns out I had already deactivated hardware acceleration in Brave, so the issue isn’t related to it.

i found a fix. open the download page (ctrl J) … click search and put a single period . as the search query, then search, it will then show the downloads. This seems to refresh the download page list so you can see the files.

Reinstall your brave app, worked for me

Try resizing your window when the Downloads page is selected – I believe the issue you’re running into is this one:

Resizing works, @Mattches, and is more convenient than opening and closing Developer Tools, which is what I was doing once I noticed this in Brave Nightly this afternoon (Version 0.70.36 Chromium: 76.0.3809.87 (Official Build) nightly (64-bit) Win10 Home 1903, also previous version of Brave Nightly). The same behavior was occurring on macOS 10.14.5 Brave Nightly Version 0.70.34 Chromium: 76.0.3809.87 (Official Build) nightly (64-bit), as well as in Nightly 0.70.36 for Mac to which I just updated.
