We placed an AWWWARDS ribbon on our homepage https://www.strategobranding.nl which results in an error “ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS” when clicked, instead of opening our honorable mention page on their website: “https://www.awwwards.com/sites/stratego-branding”.
The uploaded image is a print screen of the error and therefor in Dutch since my settings are Dutch.
Reproduce the error:
Just click the link on our homepage to see the error result. When you enter that url manually the page does open so it seems Brave is not redirecting correctly. I did delete the cookies as the error suggests but this makes no difference. This error only occurs in Brave, in Safari and Chrome it is working just fine.

I am running latest version of all software (I am an update geek).

Anyone any idea what is happening and how to fix this? I have no clue if this is a bug or if this has something to do with the used script. The script is generated form their website: https://www.awwwards.com/ribbons/honorable/.
