All history and bookmarks LOST!

Description of the issue:
Opened up Brave on iPad this morning. All my open tabs from last night have gone, there is NO history to restore them and NO bookmarks. I am synced with Brave running on a Huawei P30 Android and MacBook. Unfortunately, Brave does not sync across iOS, so I have lost all my research and several hours of work.

The Brave browser is cleaned out. It shows I am synced to my other devices, otherwise it looks like a brand new install

Expected result:

I didn’t expect this!

Reproduces how often:

First time…but i only switched to Brave last week

Additional Information:

I understand you can not sync iOS tabs, but why are the bookmarks missing on the iPAD?
