Bookmarks are gone when i’ve update BB

Hi,
right now i’ve update Brave Browser to the latest version
1.16.2
from the other version
1.15
My device is a iphone SE with IoS 12.4.1
When i’ve opened the browser again bookmarks and history were gone.
I’ve uninstalled the app and the installed again from app store. This happened again past summer and now i need to cope again with this annoying issue.
Anyone has the same problem?
