Last night, the iOS on my phone updated to 17.4.1. After the update, I was asked to select my default browser and I selected Brave as that’s the one I mostly use (although it wasn’t the default one before). I was taken to app store for a Brave update. After the update I noticed all my open tabs had disappeared. I checked my bookmarks and everything was gone. This is simply infuriating - it’s years of bookmarks that I need and use a lot. It’s a huge amount of information that matters to me. I notice other similar threads here yet many are years old and not resolved. So - how to recover my bookmarks ASAP?
It’s absurd that a simple app update would wipe away everything you’ve ever had in that app.
I do not use Brave on other devices, just on this iphone 11.
