Browser updated last night, there is no longer sound. Checked multiple site with audio and video.

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

1. Go to youtube or any site with audio
2. Play audio / video - there is no sound
3. Attempted to play local audio file - also no sound.

Expected result:
I expect to hear audio.

Additional Information:
Desktop: Kubuntu 24.04 - main work station
Laptop: Kubuntu 24.04 - both my main and backup also lost audio after the update.

Ive been trying all the things people have said to try going back to 2017. Finally found a single post saying that after an update and restart of their browser sound was lost and to click on the sound icon, click on Applications, click on the sound icon to mute and then check and then do it again and check. Even when it said it was not muted, it actually was. This was my problem as well. It was the icon as my other browser that is working but I clicked it - which said it was now muted - and the result was still no sound - and then clicked again to unmute - and then I had sound.
