Ads blocking the browser menu and plugins

Description of the issue: Ads appear in top right corner of the browser, blocking the use of plugins / menu. Is there a way to change the ad location?

Also, additional question, are the ads only in form of pop ups (notifications) now? I’ve been using brave for a few months, and up until now I never got one of those notifications. It started quite recently.

Version 1.28.106 Chromium: 92.0.4515.159 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Turns out I am an idiot. I needed to set up notification in system, not in brave.

For me it was application Popup Notifications:
