Apparently for like 2 months now I haven’t had a single ad appear or make a noise from the brave browser. Though when I look under my “Ad History” it says I’ve viewed adds. I have actually seen/heard none of these and I also have received no BAT for the past 2 months because of this. This happened shortly after I made the Uphold account and linked it. Besides that the only thing I had changed since than has been upgrading my Avast Anti virus. But I have tested this theory by completely deactivating every portion of Avast that I can and still have received no ads.
