Address and tool bar extremely big after update

Description of the issue:
Address and tool bar appear extremely big after latest update. I have no idea why someone changed it when it was perfect before. Using a 2k display so maybe its related to that but like i said everything was fine yesterday. Using latest Windows.
How can this issue be reproduced?
Just start the browser with the newest update
Version 1.75.175 Chromium: 133.0.6943.54

Expected result:
Address and tool bar should be at previous size
Brave Version( check About Brave):

Version 1.75.175 Chromium: 133.0.6943.54

Additional Information:

Oh yeah, also noticed that when i go on twitter the volume option doesnt toggle automatically like it used to before, so basically theres no way to adjust the volume on twitter video clips. Great, that last update just completely f’d everything. Is there a way to do a rollback at least?

@3d23bbe2831ed8ecdd9d we did not change the size of the address bar in the latest update. There must be something else going on here. Is Brave the only app on your PC that you’re seeing this on?

Yeah, nothing else changed apart from Brave. I also tried out the Beta Brave version and it was the same there. But did you push a new update today because yesterday everything was fine?

Ok, so there was an update pushed but i just downloaded regular Google Chrome and it appears to be the same issue there, so i guess its related to upgrading the Chromium version. How annoying…is there any way to rollback to a previous version?

Can you please tell me what version of Windows you’re using at this time?

Also, can you tell me if you’re running Windows in “tablet mode” at this time?

Windows 11 Home 22000.2538 and no tablet mode.

@3d23bbe2831ed8ecdd9d can you please share what your brave://version/ says?

1.75.175 Chromium: 133.0.6943.54 (Official Build) (64-Bit)

Can you share the full page with me please? Feel free to copy/paste or share a screenshot. The one thing I would recommend is omitting your executable path as that is the only part of this page that may contain personal/sensitive information.

@3d23bbe2831ed8ecdd9d not sure what’s going on here — it is additionally weird because the icons shown on your screenshot (back, forward and refresh button icons) are not the ones used in Brave.

Can you please download the Beta build of the browser and tell me if that version of the browser appears normal for you?

hey so i fixed it by upgrading to the windows insider version. it seems my device ran out of warranty and therefore stopped updating windows at all - very weird but its fixed now!

Device warranty is a mute point.
Your windows version is 21H2,
I believe M$ only supports old versions for 2 years. CV is 23H2, you should look into why it’s stuck.
