Description of the issue:
I had 70+bat in my unverified wallet. I noticed there was a link to verify my wallet, which was previously unavailable. I clicked to verify my wallet, and it asked me if I already have an Uphold wallet. I clicked that I already have one, logged into it and my 70+ bat disappeared. Now I only see the amount I had in my wallet from Uphold before I connected my account to my mobile phone app.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- acquire some BAT in an unverified wallet
- Click the “verify” button (but do NOT click to create a new wallet/account with Uphold)
- Click that you already have an Uphold wallet and log into it.
- Notice the money you had before verifying is gone.
If you ask me if I already have a wallet, I expect that the money I have will go into the wallet I already have. I do not expect that my money will dissapear without warning and that my previously established wallet takes over my mobile without those BAT being added to it.
