Action buttons on websites not working

Description of the issue:
On various websites, action buttons including buttons for links have not response.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Go to a website
  2. Try to click on a button
  3. Wait as nothing happens

Expected result:
I would be taken the linked page or a form would submit

Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.51.118

Additional Information:
I migrated from a MacBook Pro M1 2020 to a Macbook Pro M2 2023, which is when the problem started.
