9gag.com not properly loading anymore

Description of the issue:
I go to 9gag.com in Brave and the page does not properly load anymore, I only see the title and burger menu but it doesn’t work either, no other content loads; it used to work just fine for many weeks and I can open the page in Safari at the same time. The issue might have started with the update to the latest version of Brave. Screenshot attached.

Seems to a fingerprinting issue by the site, just Allow Fingerprinting via Shields icon in the url bar.
