Youtube looking different/strange

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. On my Brave Browser, YouTube looks different - the sub button, game category, etc, all have white box lines around them now. I brought up the same YT video in Chrome and Edge, both of them show YT as how it always is.

    I have uploaded how the change looks to me. I am on Windows 10 21H2 x64.
  2. I tried disabling my YT related extensions and no change
  3. I have an older laptop running Windows 11 and Brave installed (current version as well), YT looks how it should.

Expected result:
An explanation of what may have happened?
