Windy.com not working right (map blank)

Description of the issue:
When I go to windy.com, all I see is a blank map instead of the map. Once in a while it works, but 90% of the time, no.

Exact URL of the website in question:

Did the issue present with default Shields settings? (yes/no)
issue doesn’t change with or without shields

Does the site function as expected when Shields are turned off?
no

Is there a specific Shields configuration that causes the site to break? If so, tell us that configuration. (yes/no):
no

Does the site work as expected when using Chrome?
yes

Brave version (check About Brave):
all versions since I’ve used Brave (about a year, maybe longer). [
Version 1.24.82 Chromium: 90.0.4430.93 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Maybe its your internet issue. windy website is working fine on my browser

Working here, a few things to check.

  • I would test with/without hardware acceleration in brave://settings/system
  • Also don’t have fingerprint=Aggressive enabled
  • Test in private window mode
  • Try a new profile (or test in Brave beta)

I figured it out. Was “Dark Theme for Chrome” extension. Weird as even on “Light Mode” it was not working. I have never seen that anywhere else.

thanks…since it worked for you (I always assumed it was everyone who had the problem) I was able to narrow it down :slight_smile:
