Brave doesn't display Google map background with Shields on

Description of the issue:

The site https://skysight.io/ presents a Google map with weather data overlay. With Shields on, the underlying terrain is not displayed. You may need to register for a free trial to get to a map display.

yes. Turned off Shields for the site and it appears to be working OK.
