I went to go check a password for a site and when I tried to bring it up and look at it I was asked for my windows password. Why would I have to put a windows password into a Brave function to access the brave function?

This is a security feature implemented so that if someone were to have access to your open computer, they would still need your password to view all the saved, sensitive password data in your browser.
