Websites displaying incorrect currency for prices for my country

Description of the issue:

I am in the United States, but websites that sell products or services are displaying prices in euros instead of dollars. If I open the same URL in Chrome, it shows dollars. I’ve seen it on several unrelated sites, such as Tripadviser, CarID, and Amazon. While the website is loading, sometimes you see the prices start out in dollars but then they switch to euros almost immediately.

1. Open Brave browser
2. Navigate to Tripadvisor.com from the US
3. Search for hotel rooms
4. Observe that the prices are in euros instead of dollars

I occasionally get a similar issue if using a VPN from another location. Try clearing the cookies/cache of the website and retest. Also trying the same site in private window mode?
