I am in the UK and each time I check something that should show in USD it instead shows in EUR

Description of the issue:

Every time I view a page that includes an amount of money e.g. $400 it automatically converts it into Euros e.g. €362.89 I do not wish it to be converted into Euros, but to be displayed in the original currency.

I looked at eToro’s help documents and found this: How do I change the language on the eToro web version?

Even though the heading says “language” it also shows options to change other default settings. Changing you default currency is in the same tab.

Hi, This is not an issue with eToro, I have checked the settings on my eToro account and the currency is set to “US Dollar ($)” (see screenshot)

This happens on every website that I use including Gmail! (see excerpt from an email which actually showed currency in dollars but automatically converted to euros.

Ah, OK. I don’t know what the problem is. Below is some initial troubleshooting questions the moderators seem to ask. After you work through those, you can tag the moderators and see if they can help. Or tag them now, up to you.

1. Does it work in other browsers and which ones? Try Chrome for sure.
2. Have you tried clearing cache/history?
3. Do you have any extensions installed? Have you tried disabling them?
4. Create a new profile and see if it works there.

Also, you might try closing everything then opening just Brave and see if the problem persists.

Just curious, what are your settings in brave://settings/wallet? I can’t imagine that would impact your eToro wallet. Should be distinctly separate.
