Brave video player cannot handle landscape mode. This issue is basically a series of different malfunctions that occur when Brave plays a video (such as a Youtube video) in widescreen/landscape mode. Closing the app, switching phone screen orientation, or opening iOS’ notifications or control center will cause a malfunction ~60% of the time. This includes freezing (entire page), stuck images (a frozen frame of the video but not the whole page), and crashing. This has been an issue through the past few iOS and Brave updates.
Version 1.68.1 (145). iPhone 12 running iOS 18 Public Beta. This also occurs on my iPad Mini 5 running iOS 18 Public Beta.
