Click on icon for the extension. Brave crashes instantly

I have a very similar problem. Although I have noticed that the crash occurs when the page with the video I want to download has been loaded for a few (~5) minutes. It may be a coincidence, but whenever I have reloaded the page before opening VDP (with all the intention of testing this), I avoid this problem.
