This is a temporary change that affects a lot of users, but no idea when the feature will be added back. You will still earn BAT, but will not be able to link to Gemini or Uphold for a while.

The only limitation right now is to take BAT from your browser and move it to Uphold or Gemini. You still earn BAT, and once Uphold or Gemini or maybe even another exchange reopens, all the BAT can be moved there and you can do whatever you want with it.
The only thing you should take care of is that the BAT will be stored in your browser until then. So, if you uninstall Brave, reset your device or something similar, you might lose your BAT. To reduce this risk, you should back up your \Brave folder to your device. If you keep a copy of the browser off-device, you can at least restore it to its pre-problem state in case of loss.
