Every time I start Brave browser it turns on Safe Search. How can I turn Safe Seach off permanently?

I know that a while back this was an issue (where Safe Search was reverting to default after restart) but this has been fixed since then. Just tested on both Windows and macOS and my Safe Search setting was retained after restarting the browser.
@anon57438784 is correct — if you are removing or blocking all cookies from/on search.brave.com then this is likely the source of the issue.

I didn’t realise that I could exempt just Brave Search.
