Welcome to the brave community 
As far as I know It was removed as it was linked to the browser crashing. The Brave team is currently working on sync, so it should be fixed in the future I hope. You can re-enable it if you want in brave://flags, but be warned that your browser may crash if you do so.

They say the wallet sync from mobile to PC was crashing the browser. Seems there isn’t a solution yet, but they say they’re trying to address it in a future release.
