Still unable to reconnect to Uphold in June

Briefly describe your issue:

It says I need to reconnect my account to Uphold, but when I try, after logging in and authorizing it, it just says something went wrong and to contact support. This has been happening every time for weeks now. I found some threads from May reporting the same thing when it started, but those have posts saying the issue has been resolved when it hasn’t for me.

What Operating System and Brave version are you using? (Menu --> About Brave)

I’m in the USA.

@mminer237 issues from time you’re reflecting back to had been resolved. If you’re still having issues, it might be a local problem. Can you try to reset your Rewards and then attempt connecting?

After resetting, I’m still unable to sign up. After picking “United States” it just says, “Something went wrong:
Unfortunately, there was an error while trying to set up Brave Rewards. Please try again.”

Thanks for checking, @mminer237. That had resolved for people earlier. I’m going to tag in @Evan123 in hopes he can see and check things out here in a bit. One thing I’ll say is it’s late in the day and tomorrow is a US holiday, so it’s possible we don’t hear back on anything until Thursday. (Lot of people at Brave tend to have American holidays off)

The other thing I’ll suggest just in case might be to create a Rewards Support Ticket at https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360001302431. I’m mentioning this just in case it’s something happening only between Brave and your account, at which point they’ll be able to help figure it out and get it resolved.
