I switched to Google search as the default because some of their features just make so much sense. For instance, when I google a professional sports league such as the UFC, the widget that pops up gives me the information that I am usually looking for immediately. It contains recent past events, upcoming events, the teams/athletes that are participating, and the times. This is missing in the Brave search engine.
I want to use the Brave search engine, but this functionality is missing. I use the search bar to look up sports, restaurants, and locations but it is usually less useful then when I use the google search engine. I hope that the Brave search can implement these things so I can stay in the Brave environment more often.

Hello redbull333,
It’s great that you’ve found Google’s sports widgets so helpful—those instant details on events and athletes are definitely convenient. I share your frustration with Brave’s lack of similar features, especially when it comes to looking up sports information quickly. While Brave’s privacy focus is commendable, it would be amazing to see them integrate more user-friendly tools like Google’s. In the meantime, if you’re looking for a more tailored sports experience, I suggest installing the modded Sportzfy app. It provides a comprehensive overview of sports events, which might help bridge the gap while Brave works on adding more features.
Thanks & No Need To Mention!

I noticed that it shows elections and such, so I’m assuming the team is slowly working on small features, which I like to see.
Development should always be a chill and relaxing experience, no need to rush IMO.
