Since I updated Brave last week, I’ve noticed there are more and more links that I am clicking off of various web pages (but mostly from Tweetdeck) that open a new tab, but the URL shows up as:
“data:text/html;base64,PHNjcmlwdD5pZih3aW5kb3cuaGlzdG9yeS5sZW5ndGg+MSl3aW5kb3cuaGlzdG9yeS5iYWNrKCk7ZWxzZSB3aW5kb3cuY2xvc2UoKTs8L3NjcmlwdD4=”, and the page is blank (see attachment). When I log into Tweetdeck on Chrome and try the same link, the page comes up fine. This is just one example, I have seen this happen across many links to different sites.
I am running Windows 10 Version 10.0.19044 Build 19044, Brave version 104.0.5112.102. I’m not a tech expert so I apologize in advance if I am
not providing enough information…I am not aware that I changed any settings so just hoping someone might be able to provide some guidance or a point in the right direction.
