Some Favicons don't resolve in bookmarks bar

I’m a relatively new Brave browser user, and I have imported all my bookmarks from Firefox, but favicons of some of the sites that I have bookmarked don’t resolve. What shows instead for these is circular grey and black icon with a stylized S in the middle.

These sites are very popular, such as Amazon and Craigslist, and their favicons show up just fine in my Firefox and Chrome browsers, just not in Brave.

What’s the solution?
