Troubleshooting technical issues is much easier when both the user and support agent practice clear communication. For this reason, we have provided the template below for you to fill out with information about your issue. Please provide as much detail as possible so we can most efficiently resolve your problem.
Description of the issue:
I went to search using the following terms:
“if the debt ceiling can be infinitely raised why does it exist.”
The results that popped up stayed visible for about a second before completely switching to a new set of results that were related to my query, but did not directly answer it. In the results that initially appeared and then vanished I was able to read the headline to the first article before it disappeared, and it was basically exactly what I was looking for. In the second set, the results seemed more geared toward explaining what the debt ceiling is and why it should be raised, which reeks of an agenda to me. I don’t want to think that I’m being steered by brave toward certain results. I’d use Google if I wanted that. So what gives??
First screenshot is after I typed my query again and snatched a photo before it changed.
Second screenshot of the results that replaced the ones that vanished.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- In brave search, type “if the debt ceiling can be infinitely raised why does it exist”
- Look.
- Get suspicious.
Expected result:
To see the results initially produced by my search that appeared more relevant to my query.
