Prevent links from opening in new tabs

Some websites such as AliExpress open nearly every link in a new tab, which is annoying.

Typically, from your orders list, all these actions open in new tabs:

  • Click on an order
  • Click “Refund status”
  • Tracking information
  • etc

Is there any setting or add-on that can force links to open in the same tab, unless you actively hold CTRL down while you click on a link?
